Anyone around tomorrow to help with recovery?

Is anyone available tomorrow to help me try and get my CJ off the Carp trail? I need to tap/re-cut the threads on the tie-rod and then drive out. It also seemed like I only had front wheel drive, so I need someone who can help tug me up some of the obstacles.

Would anyone be able to help tomorrow morning?

 to anyone available

He bent his tie rod. We were able to straighten it out and get 1 half on but stupid us never thought about keeping the nut on the shaft when hammering out the tie rod end so one side had a minor mushroom.

I had a thought, can you get a replacement tie rod end? You could easily swap it out tomorrow? I assume Crappy tire sells them? I may be available tomorrow afternoon but can't count on it. The jeep is located just before the new mud hole. The bending happened when he came up that spot.

I've got the tap, so I figured I'd give that a shot. I guess I can see if they have a tie rod end as well. I've also got to be somewhere in the afternoon, so if it doesn't go in the morning, it'll probably be there for a few days :(

My Sami isn't in town, and the Runner doesn't have a front diff, else I could be there. Ummmm, what time ya thinkin? I can give Richard and/or Matt a call, they are not too far from Carp. How about posting up some contact details, then it can be passed on to them if they don't read it here first.

I would get one of each thread. Are you sure the one you need to tap is the one on that was righty loosey?

Just talked to Kevin and he is almost out. Interestingly he is going out in reverse since there is something going on with his rear axle. He should be out shortly but I told him to give me a call. Anyone got a spare trailer to get him home (who hasn't gone to the Gorge)?

Out and home...I'll have to get the Heep towed home tomorrow. Thanks 2Greys (Chris) and Cheford (I forgot your name) for all your help! I owe you guys some , and a hi-lift handle of course.
