Ok, I didn't go away, but there is no camping available Thanksgiving. It is put on hold until later in the month, depending on weather and schedule.

Has anyone committed to leading this run? I've never been to Cyclone. Where is the meet point?
You've been there. Remember that gravel road we drove down after leaving Lingham Lake? That's Cloyne power line. Remember where we aired up before hitting the road for Ottawa? That's the general meeting area.

Note - the DMR guys have been there the past 2 weekends. You might get more interest over there, although they are pretty much a buggy only crowd.

Actually DMR was only there last weekend. Moose hunting is open there as of last Monday and there were lots of hunters setting up on the power line on the weekend. Sorry it wasn't announced here as yes, it was all buggies being ridden like rented mules. Also as most of them have just got their buggies back together in the last month for the first time this season it was a small hardcore group.

Fair enough - thanks for the clarification. Based on the pics and vids I've seen, it was a good time.

Wow, wide variety of rig designs. I was surprised by the design of the orange trimmed low slung buggy - looks 'short'...likely isn't but much shorter than the others by comparison. Probably the camera...

What is the little silver buggy powered with - sounds like a whole lot of angry squirrels!

And wow absolutely in love with the buggy that closed out that vid - silver/spider-web looking cage, pointed rear, big honkin V8...deelishus!

Thanks for sharing the vid mucovich

I enjoyed the difference in the rev limiter approach, then Dwayne crawling everything.

George has a build thread on the Destroyer on DentMyRide, and I think on Pirate. Or is this the post Destroyer build? I can't remember.

Till Valhalla!
Just Destroyer - the new one was built in secret and has to be seen in person to fully appreciate it, it is awesome! The orange buggy used to compete in the rock crawl comps, it worked great and had stickys if i'm not mistaken which is why he could crawl like he did. The little silver one is a zook motor, not sure which size though.
