Guess I am on the hunt for a Dana 300 locally.

Theres a 72 cj on kijiji being parted out in almonte. i dont know what case it has though.

Dana 300's only came in 1980 to 1986 CJ's. The ones from 80 are the short tail housing all others are the long housing.

Also came in a few Scouts but it is a different trans bolt pattern so will not work.

I found a couple around Toronto and may have to get one shipped. Fedex should be about $70 to get it here by ground ~300 -350 total. I made sure to look no earlier than 81.

Look at Greyhound for shipping, typically much cheaper. Or take the wifey down to TO for a weekend.

Problem with Greyhound is you have to have someone deliver it to them. For the latter, I am trying to keep it economical.

I don't know about the meeting as it is a day before we go to Rausch Creek and we might even be driving that night. I should be in Ottawa before then though.
