Ya front axle. 74-76 long shaft is 33"3/16

Well the shafts that I use which I have a spare set from John (which I have to get back to you John) the long shaft is 33 3/16 and the short shaft is 14 11/16 but those are not 80's number.
Ok Mike what side is your drop on? It should be passenger side and whether it is 5x5.5 or 6x5.5 is the only real difference I think between 74-76 and 77-79. otherwise they look to be similar according to Mr. N. under Jeep FSJ Driver side pumpkins.

It is a drivers side diff. long shaft length is 32" from the center of the u-joint to the end of the splines. I'll measure the short shaft tonight. The axle had 6X5.5" when I got it, I put a set of ford knuckles.

Looks like you have an 80-92 w/o the disconnect then.
