Dwyer Hill quick trip Friday afternoon?

Is anyone interested in a quick run around Dwyer Hill tomorrow? I've never been and heard there are some wide spots where I don't need to worry about pinstripes and my 4" lift and 33's will be sufficient. Just want to check it out but worried about going alone and getting burried. I have front tow hooks and receiver hook if necessary for pulling but no winch or come-along.

Thinking of going late afternoon... Gotta pick up the wife at 7 from work back...

If you do go you need someone about your size as well. If you got stuck you will need the weight. A jeep may be too light and small.

Yeah, went on a scouting trip on my motorbike this morning but couldn't really get in anywhere, too much water.

Dwyer Hill entrance didnt look too bad after the initial water hole right off the highway.

Corkstown had some really wide water but the trail was good and wide and fairly flat so I assume water not too deep.

Richardson Side entrance also didn't look too bad although a bit narrower than the other two.

My Tahoe made it through all the holes. The one that goes under the hydro tower gets pretty sticky in the middle. All the holes are pretty deep, I had to remove the airbox inlet that goes to the firewall so that i was not sucking in water from behind the headlight. That said, there is bed rock not too deep under the mud so it is fairly safe. Pin striping is not an issue. I would go next weekend if you want, I'm still working on the hoe from Lavant last weekend. Sorry to hear about your feet Logan!

Well never ended up getting anything organized. If anyone plans on going in August (I am on holidays for a couple weeks) let me know. I will tag along.

Mondays/Wednesdays are betterer. I'll have to check with the wife's baseball schedule. Only guaranteed bad night is Tuesday.

Don't remember doing Dwyer Hill, but if it's like burntlands, would rather do a quick Carp run (it's been awhile).

Havent been to either so I'm up for anything. Wednesday is good for me. I can meet for 6:30pm as I'm done work at 5 and have to drive all the way from Orleans to Bells corners(where I assume we'd be meeting.)

It's bad form to put trail entrances on the site. Please remove.
The usual meeting spot (when I've gone) is in Pakenham in the park by the bridge although that usually involves Burntlands and Dwyer Hill.
