Dwyer Hill vs Hunting Season

New to the trails in that area (Howie Road/Richardson Side Road to Hwy 7) and just wondering if they are still run in Hunting Season?

I know Turkey with a rifle is on and Deer with Bow is on until Nov 4. I wouldn't run them in rifle season for Deer Nov 5-19 but I don't know if there are many hunt camps or hunters in that area.

Figured I'd ask as there is no need to piss any one off and I don't know how much land back there is private or crown.

The best part of Dwyer Hill is the hydro line, and I am almost certain you cannot hunt there.

I did notice (a hunting blind/tree stand/whatever i'm not a hunter) on the trail leading up to the hydro line. It's facing a field on the right hand side past the fence. Not sure if its legit or active.

it is probably active...hunters are all over the place.

The field on the left, as you enter from Dwyer Hill, is private, so I am sure the stand is fine. If you put a stand up off an open road, then you better hunt off hours or expect noise. If I could shoot from the Pinz in the mornings I go to work (Fallowfield), I wouldn't buy beef anymore. The deer where I live are not scared off by motors.

Hummer out on the trail (and that's around 7 minutes from me)

As a club, we stay off the trails during hunting season. They only have a week or two, we have the rest of the year.

After gun season (deer) is over, have at it.
