Gas setting for MIG welding?

What flow should I be setting my regulator to for my MIG? It's been a while (like 2 yrs) since I've used it and want to make sure I have enough gas without waisting it.

I set mine between 20 and 30, depending if there's a breeze coming from the door.

Ideal setting is 25.

Also depends on what gas you are using, either a straight of mix.

Anything higher then 25 can cause the puddle to become turbulant and splash, giving you a poor weld.

I'm using mixed gas -- 75% argon 25% CO2 I think.
The regulator was set to about 12 from last time but wasn't sure if that was right.

I use the same argon/co2 mix and my manual says to set it at 25, which I always have. Works best at this range I find... But any more like Jason said it will sputter.
