Like Logan said, we've got to pick up our car trailer in Gatineau in the morning, gotta wire a few lights and what not. I will be on the run at the Gorge tomorrow but I will be late. We'll rally the first part till' we catch up so don't wait for us, I remember the trail. Keep the cb's on channel 4!
I've mentioned this before, but I feel I should again. Everyone should have a cb. With ovo the odds of being separated from the group by more than a kilometer are slim to none. Even the crappiest cb or a cheap handheld will work fine. I use a 10 year old version of the 130$ cobra at canadian tire, being able to communicate could save a life.
A couple of us got turned around coming back from crag lake last spring fever. We happened upon Tim on the trail, and in his totally cool and relaxed demeanor, he pointed out that, in the direction we were heading. We would have been driving the opposite direction all night. Last time I was at the Gorge a man was VERY concerned about his family cause' they got turned around on the trails riding their atv's, he didn't know where they were for a while. Wether you are hunting, camping, hiking or offroading, most people think they will remember the way back..... It never looks the same..... Just my 2 cents.
