Greetings (and a couple questions) from a newbie

Hi,
I was at the last meet and finally got around to registering. Looking forward to going to the Carp Trail on the 16th, and if there is anyone in the west end who's rig is up on blocks, I wouldn't mind having a co-pilot/advisor since I am a serious newb.

I am hoping to go but right now I have a stubborn ball hitch which won't come out as I want to put a D-Ring in its place.

Also I don't have but am planning on getting a steering box skid should I wait until I have it installed before...

98 Jeep TJ. It has tow hooks on the front but none on the back. I figured it would be easiest (and cheapest) to get a D-Ring on a shackle. I am planning to buy a new bumper next year and would make sure to have D-Rings on the back.

Install the steering box skid whenever it arrives ... you can't get into too much trouble on the Carp run!
