Looking for some contacts..
Ty and I just signed the deal on our first house! Yay us!

What we need:

Home inspector that does septic inspection as well - That has Errors and Omissions insurance

Contractor - We need to do some minor construction, knocking a second doorway from garage to house and ramp in garage for a wheel chair entry as well as widening the bathroom door.

Home is in Kinburn

If anyone knows either a home inspector or a contractor that is reliable please pass on a name and...

May be a bit late but I would recommend picking up Mike Holmes new book. Teaches a lot about what inspectors can and can't do and what to expect.

Thanks guys.
We are very excited and looking forward to getting out of the city.
We have the home inspection all set up but are still looking for contractors. It's a small job and we're worried we may not find anyone willing to do such a little job. Tyler's parents are coming up this weekend to look at the house and hopefully with his dads help we can do the work ourselves. Otherwise anyone here have any sort of constructions experience. It should be simple to knock out the door way. I don't think there is any brick, not sure if there's electrical in the way yet.

Jen.....not sure how soon you need that stuff done...but I'll be available in March....(I'm not kidding...I take the winter off but I don't even think of working till at least sometime in March).
