looks pretty wet to me. I think you probably should have waited another couple of weeks.

Again, I walked in there the other day. The trail is fairly dry. The spot we were at is a spot that will always be wet.

Some pretty deep ruts there, the pic almost looks like Squigley was high centered. The picture of the wet grassy area, is that beyond where you got stuck? Wouldn't mind trying that trail out in a week or two.

That's me in the Grand. I wasn't really high centered but Ty will say I was.
As far as the grassy area, are you refering to the 3rd pic? That's the hole I made filled in with all the fallen branches and logs we could find

That's where Squigley was stuck. I didn't get a shot of him because I didn't want to get my shoes dirty. What a joke that was. By the end I was ankle deep in mud walking around. The guys got a lot dirtier though.

The entire grassy area was a "low spot". It was about a foot below the water level of a nearby area flooded by a beaver dam (and the water was leaking into the area from the pond). The grass was dry, but the gound was very wet everywhere after the pond. As we didn't make it past the wet area, I'm not sure if the trail is even passable by stock vehicles. Note that we wouldn't have gone that far in if we weren't on a recovery mission. We turned around before the beaver pond the first time in.

So will you be going back, I'd like to check it out but of course don't want to go alone.
Good luck with the interview.
