[UPDATE] Meet at the gas station in Hopetown at 10:00. Richard(YJ_Driver) is leading.

So we talked about a run on the 8th, Sunday, but we forgot it was Mother's Day ;)

So who is interested? If there is enough interest, I will try to get it organized but I should stay home and pamper the wife instead :flipoff:

Trail will depend on interest and leader preferences.

Yeah, as it turns out, the Mother's Day issue is a deal breaker for me. Or so I've been informed. Apparently I promised I was making a really nice dinner for the whole famn damily.

This would be my wife's first mother's day as a mother, so I'm out... but I am looking good forward to a trail run.

I'm up for knocking off my last fender flare as my mother lives in another city and I have no kids and my wife like it when I'm not making noise working on the home reno items.

Interested in Leading Richard? What trail would you like to do if so?

Any more takers in addition to Dave? 3 trucks would be the minimum IMHO.

Thanks!

I could try leading, I'd have to go by my track from many years back so I may miss some good sections, unless you have a new one to share.

And 3 trucks is the minimum.

Nothing new, The scenic way is to start in Tatlock, there is a forestry road that goes off to the right beside the fire station. Take that, there is a nice river crossing to do, you then come out on darling road, turn left and follow until you hit the hydro line.
When you get out to HWY 511, turn left to head back to hopetown, or go straight across and do Green Lake! ;)

I'm in with my JK on 35s plus a TJ on 33s both with winches. That's three and therefore a go. Where do we meet?

Usually it is Hopetown but I will let Richard speak to that as the trail leader.

That's where my track goes so we'll do this.

We're a group, so let's meet at the gas station in Hopetown at 10:00.

I am sorry to have to pull out of the sunday run, but some more important things have come up and as much as I would rather be out playing the work is needing more attention. I hope this doesn't bugger up plans for the Jeeps but at least they wont be responsible for pulling my fat ass through the trees.

I'd like to go, but I'm not a member yet, and nearly stock (rear locker though). Is this a possible (first) trail run for me or should I wait for Spring Fever?!

Non members are welcome, it count's as one of your runs to be voted in!

Trail is stock friendly, you should not have any issues - the fun is to be had off the trail - kind of a pick your poison type thing.

Trail Report:
It was a short run with a small group, with little issues.
Drivers: Chris, Max (first run), Brad, Al, and myself.
Damage: One of my tires went flat, I think the sidewall patch came loose, and at the same time my on-board air quit. Then Brad got a squeaky bearing and drove home slow.
We only ran the North loop since I didn't feel comfortable with my spare (which has a plugged sidewall) and Brad didn't want to push the bad bearing. It was cold and windy on the high grounds, and bug free; it was the opposite in the low, woody area where we had lunch.
Thanks to all that came out and a big THANKS to Brad for airing up my spare and a lot of our tires at the end of the day.

Had a blast. Great time. Everything except my back will miss this.
Replacing both front bearings this week before putting it up for sale.
