Looking for a Slip Yoke Eliminator and Driveshaft for my 1998 Jeep XJ

ive heard the front ds out of a 97+ Jeep XJ automatic would work well for rear driveshaft witht the SYE.

If anyone has one lying around or knows where to get a sye and ds, please let me know!

thanks in advance,

Rob

I have an Advanced Adapters SYE for the np231 sitting in my garage ... it's brand new (mostly). It went into my TJ, got filled with oil, then was un-installed and went back into the box (for my application, I ended up having to go with a SS SYE to gain some driveshaft length).

I'm assuming that the TJ / XJ is the same application, but I can verify the AA part number if you want.

$250.

I was reading about this last night, since my meager 2" lift, I've got the shakes, so I'm gonna have to go with an SYE before anything else.

The thing with the front DS from an auto XJ 91+ is that it only works if your XJ is also an auto, otherwise the front stock DS will be too short. Front DS from manuals are even shorter. Also, if you go this route with the Hack-N-Tap you'll need a spicer flange (Spicer part number 211229x or Precision part number 627).
