Where: Lingham Lake-near Madoc, ON. We may decide to enter on the Kaladar side and camp there. Unsure at this point.
When: it's in the post title in case you missed it.
What: Lingham is a road, with some mud, and a lake at the end. LoL The powerlines are just like the one's around here. Drive the access road and place on whatever suits your fancy. But please...no playing on the towers. :p
Camping is as backwoods as it gets. Can either set up camp at the river, or at the lake. There...

Bail on the course, summer's almost over at that point anyway. There's always next year/fall for the course.

For sure Matt, that's why I'm thinking maybe from the Kaladar end, then we have no choice but to run the power line.

Sounds good for me, I would like to try the Kaladar end too, there are a few campgrounds right there too as I was checking last year.

Ok, so it seems like the Kaladar side is the winner. Now it's really primitive there, not even a river to hang out by. Wanna stay at a nearby campground instead? It would be about 10 minutes (if that) to the trail head.

im still in for the flat camping although I got a feeling I am going to be out voted. I HAVE to trailer and it will be a pain in the ass to take it on and off the trailer (because I know there will be something to work on lol) Also i just like being in the middle of nowhere where I dont have to worry about pissing people off. We could do it like last year where some were at a campground and others flat camping.

Rough camping is fine if girls don't want beaches and showers. But I found a campground that apparently the boys stayed at last weekend when they did Lingham, or at least some rockcrawlers did. They have a Sunday breakfast buffet, nice lake .....they thought the trucks were cool and just parked eveybody together by the entrance so that you could leave without worrying about bothering anybody.

I am already booked as they really only have one spot big enough for me. They have an area to put our trailers if you don't want them on your site. They would like as much advance notice as possible, do tell them you are with OVO and specifically me so I think they will try to get us near each other.

We have booked our campsite at Sherwood Wood Park. Will arrive on the
19th and check out on the 22nd. Just to let everyone know we are in campsite 8 and they will try and get us close together if they can.

They only take debit and cash, no credit cards. Sunday they have a great brunch, $10.00 per person, kids under 11 are 1/2 price.

Wheeling is amazing. Beach is great, showers are hot, and the mini put is 1.00 per 18 holes.

Should be fun. Phone # for campground is 1-888-419-3026
