Local summer trail access

I'm asking with regard to dry(ish) access. I wouldn't go on Snowmobile trails or in brutal spring mud. Other than this, I'm a noob, but am aware of the need for a buddy rig and/or proper recovery gear, etc. For background, I drive a gas 2003 liberty with grabber AT2s in a stock size. Otherwise stock for now also.

Just flew home last night and came in over Richmond - looks like there may be possible access to the power lines off of Garvin Road.

Considering that my driveway is a muddy mess (first year for that - yay), I wouldn't bother trying to hit up any trails right now, unless they were purely rock. Better to wait a few more weeks for everything to dry up, which is why our first run of the year is typically Spring Fever May long weekend. My 2 cents.

^ I know. :D

djtc, thanks for the note on crown maps. I had a look at what is on the MNR site - pretty good tool and very clear as to what the restrictions are. I see why the spring fever is out near black donald lk now.
