Looking for a dirt bike for my kid...

...Mitchell, 9 yo boy.

Any suggestions where to look. Looking for advice on what to look for also. Can't afford a new Honda or yamaha or anything.

So It'll have to be old and used or maybe one of thoce Chinese ones from CT.

Any expereince / advice welcome.

first off , I don't have anything for sale but I do know people that have bought the crappi tire bikes. The first guy , the starting mechanism broke shortly after he got it ,the parts were all plastic ,and just out of warranty, long wait for parts. the next guy, bought one of the 4 wheelers for his son, and it works fine even after a few years.The ct bikes are cheap and thats really what you get. A honda or yam. will cost more but when your kid grows out of it its still worth near what you paid for it.

try to find a used honda... even if the bike is 20 years old, you will still be able to find parts for it and they are great bikes. i have a 1983 CR250r and it runs like new even though it looks like crap

i bought a 50cc 4 wheeler off this guy.
he supports them very well.
had two issues and he mailed me parts no questions asked. he sent me wheel bearings and an entire carb.
I'm thinking of getting his 250cc bike to chase my kid around.
they are cheap chinese knock offs but who cares if it works.
