Need a front axle for my zj. Dana30 HP 3:73 would be ideal, but anything I can use would be great. I just want to start wheeling. Let me know what you got, thanks!

g'day i got a front and rear diff from a 1987 jeep yj, its a dana 30in the front but im not sure of the gear ratio....

Actually high pinion but set up for leaves. TJ is low pinion but set up for coils.

It is my understanding that ZJ's are low pinion D30. I believe some XJ's had high pionion d30 in them. Don't know it they are a direct bolt in swap or not. That being said I have a parts 94 ZJ laying around that still has the front diff in it. It has 3:54 gears in it. The jeep has 360,000 + km's on it and I have no idea what shape the diff is in. Its been sitting for over 2 years now. Its pretty picked over but the whole jeep can be yours for cheap if you are interested in it.

It seems 373 gears are hard to come by in anything. Can anyone point me in the direction of a shop that sells gears and someone to install them for me? Looks like that's my only option here..

Yukon Gear and Superior make a3:73 for a D30. Try National 4WD in Smiths Falls.

I have a 91 XJ auto with a HPD30... i believe it has 354 gears in it. Located in Bowmanville. little far from Ottawa area. if you want it its here. make an offer if youre interested.
