The date is Aug 29 & 30th. This is their last time running this event. We've been asked to do the BBQ again. Do we want to? Or just go as participants?

I would like to tag alone but I'm not a member yet. I need to find time to make it to a meeting with everyone.

I would vote to taking it over and running it either in it existing location or working with land owners in Calabogie for next year.

:smokin:

The current land owners I believe are selling the property, I think that's partially the reason for its demise.

2 and a half hours is just too far for me. But Calabogie on the otherhand, I'd vote yes on taking it over.

It's a whole weekend event. Go friday, leave sunday. Just incase that changes your mind :p

I may be interested in helping out. All depends on $$$

Well it's a matter of where to stay. We don't have the money for a hotel and camping can be tough finding flat space for the wheelchair

Added to the calender. If there are enough volunteers then I don't see why we can't run the BBBQ.

PS. The extra B is for BYOBB.

PPS. That last B is a typo.

I was referring to taking the event over from NH4WDC. That's a pretty big undertaking since we already run 2 full weekend events a year.

This event probably doesn't fit your needs Jen. It's held in 2 old farm fields. They are hilly and bumpy, Ty would have a heck of a time getting from event to event, or even to the port-a-poties for that matter.
As for hotels, nothing nearby, well 30 minutes away. And flat groud for camping is pretty much non-existant.

we wouldn't be walking away with much if it was at the racetrack, but I am up for anything if it would work out. He has the land for it and the terain, but you have to make sure he doesn't have his hand in your back pocket every time you turn around.

:D

He may be interested in cutting a few trails. I know shane knows him also. Maybe we could work something out with him where he isn't looking for too much money.... Maybe that is.

As far as I know, The club puts on one event, and I put on SuziCan!

;)

I seem to recall myself, Stacy and Tim helping with this event, plus I believe Adrian & Andrew (and maybe others that I am forgetting) were there this year. To me that is a club event.

But that's out of scope of *this* conversaion, this thread is about NH's event.

You definatley need more help flipping burgers this year!!!!

I thought we did ok last year. I know I didn't take a break, or see much of the action, but that was by choice. I was having a good time at the Q. Tim & Steve offered many times to take over, but I was having too much fun.

Might have had something to do with the :beer: :flipoff:

I would be in for helping more this year, especially after I break my truck ;)
