OVO Dead?

Anybody still here and/or wheeling?

Inquiring mind from back in the day wants to know.

I unlocked an old NAS and am reminiscing.

Been driving a diesel (OM 642) GC (with Quadra drive II!) for the last 11 years.

Meh:




Wondering if anyone is still doing trail runs. Or if there are any trails left.

PS: Not planning to run any trails in the above GC. Something else may be in the works.

How do you like the diesel GC?

Forum is pretty much dead, some activity on FB. Tim, Pierre and Wendell wheel pretty regularly, or have been the past year or two. COVID kinda slowed everything down.

Question for the Executive - if we're going to just post "go look at FB" for trail runs and the like, why are we maintaining and paying for the website? It really does seem dead and pointless if even the exec has effectively abandoned it.

We have been discussing building a new OVO website to replace the forum. We've received a lot of comments that the forum is not user friendly to navigate and it is old and all over the place.

We are planning to upscale a new site where all official club communications will occur; messages, runs, etc.

We hope to begin design planning shortly, great new ideas came out of the AGM which will rejuvenate the club.
