im almost afraid to go now lol almost!!

Don't let any of us scare you - it all depends on comfort level. Some folks can't stand the smallest scratch/pinstripe on their rig, for others, as long as the pieces that get bashed off fit in the truck, it's still a good day.

Bring the blazer, not many turn arounds in carp. Dh or gorge would be better to break in the si##kick. either way, i'll have plenty of straps and gear as usual. I'm loading the truck now i should have enough tools for any scenario so unless someone needs to bring a tool specific to their ride we should be good!

That was just listening to lots of bad advice. All fixed now. Changed my front drive shaft and my wheel bearing today.

Does anyone know the condition of the trail? ie would I be able to take my doors off or would that just lead to me spending the next week scraping mud from the interior?

Mitko - Thanks for organizing this. It was really interesting and helpful (at least for those of us who have never seen a winch in action!). I hope you guys had a great trail ride!

Cheers,
Lee

Thanks Mitko for running the show today, I had a great time!

I even made it out with all 4 mudflaps still attached! That being said, I'm going to wait until I get a lift kit to try that trail again...

To the guy who has the green lifted Tacoma... I picked up something of yours on the trail, but you were gone by the time I got out. It looks like a part of your rear bumper. Message me on here and we can arrange a time/place I can give it back.

Thanks again Mitko! I scared myself a few times and got up on three wheels during most of those times, but I had a great time...I won't be forgetting that rocky dog's leg! :D Great meeting everyone too! Some pics in order from going in, the lunch stop, and coming out...

Thanks everybody for coming to OVO's 2012 safety course/info session.
We had 17 trucks participating the course and this is by far the biggest group ever.
It was entirely my pleasure to be with you guys, to do my course with you and to lead you through Carp trail.
Hope to see you soon on the trails.
