Hey Danny it is marked on the calendar that PFJ is open the 25th and 26th of this month and the Rock Race is not on the calendar but it is scheduled for the 1 and 2 of August. Are both on? Also any idea then who might want to go on the 25th if they are open? Who is going to the Rock race as competitors and spectators so we maybe we can arrange some convoying or car pooling?

hey Dwayne, i think that the family and i might be up for PJF on the 25th 26th, what events are on that weekend?

Ok so Mark and Justin are you still up for this weekend? I talked to Danny and the park will be open, there are no events just come and run the trails. I have found a "real" campground about 20 mins away, Danny says the parking lot is very muddy and I would not be able to put the bus in there anyway.
This is all dependent on my getting my truck back together but my transfer case should be ready tomorrow.
Anybody else interestesd?

Yeah, I figured as the girls and kids might not want to go all the time we will for some reason ;) that it looked like a good park to go to, oh and it is the only one close by lol,

It says it is only 8.96 miles, maybe I won't bring my Excursion then, I will drive 9 miles, I was under the impression from the campground owner it was like 20 miles each way.

You will have your Dodge right Mark? Just if we are really stuck for a ride somewhere?

yes, i'll have the dodge for any running around, what time are we looking at going? and are reservations necessary at that campground? I'm looking forward to it!:D

Ok yeah sorry I forgot to say that I am booked at site 56 from Friday to Sunday, it is much better if you phone if to reserve if you parlais Francais otherwise you just might have to wait for a return call.

we booked our site yesterday so we are good to go :smokin: what time where you thinking of leaving dwayne, Ang won't be finished work until about 3:30 so we'll hit the road as soon as she gets home :heep:

Well the good news is I got the transfer case bolted back in last night, I just have hook up the front DS, exhaust, crossmember, inside cover, console and seat so it looks that I am on track lol.
I am actually looking at trying to leave by noon, but as anybody who knows me that has a low probability. My goals is to not drive 40' of bus and 26' of trailer through Ottawa anytime near rush hour. So if I am not going to be able to leave home by 2 I probably will wait until later.

Very narrow, lots of tight corners, etc.. Bad enough with my camper. I could not imagine it with the bus.

After Hawksbury (assuming hawksbury is where you are crossing into Quebec), go right on 148 and take it to 327 that way. Adds about 20 minutes but the road is much better.
