quinn trail

Have you been back to the Quinns off the Hydro Line trail in a while? We were at the West Quinn Lake, last lake, the road stops there.

The Rhino barely fit alogn the trail,it was in terribly rough shape,I was back there a few times last summer and the trail has gone to shit.

I know the entrance off I guess it would be Arcol, theres always the big mud pit at the begining was in better shape then the trail we took.I know theres some highly modified vehicles on here but with all the fallen tress and overall condition of the trail I can't see a full size vehicle making it all the way in,maybe a buggy could squeeze it but a Jeep would be tough for sure.

Quinn was fine after we pre-ran and removed the fallen tree's. Not sure what trail 98At is talking about. A properly equipped Rhino should fit in Quinn with ease.

98 AT is speaking of the trail that turns right at the T after the lookout when you enter the front door. you pass a couple of hunting cabins, snake through some thread and needle trails following the south edge of quinn, cross a small stream and up a steep, off camber hill. that trail will continue on to take you out to west quinn lake. heard through the grapevine that there is a trail that'll link west quinn lake to butternut lake but I rarely get up into the quinns anymore to actually confirm this.

if any of you are interested in trail exploration, you may also wanna take a tour of whats behind granite lake cabin. ;) it's tight but doable in a quad or samurai.

A little bridge that a truck won't fit across? I have no idea where you are. Long/Lat would help. Come to Suzican & Friends, I'm sure someone will go out and run Quinn.

Szabatoge is right, thats the way we took into the Quinns. Its not a very common way in at all, really really rough,I can't see a full size vehicle makign it threw.

CCL I'm up in the Ompah area most weekends also either at camp or camping back in the bush. You wouldnt happen to have a Blue TJ?I passed a Blue TJ this past weekend back along the trail to Govan.

I know a few different ways into the quinns and also a few trails that connect you,PM me if you want and maybe we can arrange to meet sometime up there,I dont mind showing you the way:smokin:

Saturday might work,I'll hopefully be heading up there early morning, the truck will be in the shop friday having a timing chain and a few other things replaced,if its ready for saturday we can meet up.

Surprised I didnt see you this past weekend,I passed the blue TJ a few times,I was camping back in the bush, out on the trails during the day.Is your TJ modified at all or stock?I'd recommend a good set of tires, winch or come along and a few tow straps if you wanted to venture back into the quinns. It was pretty wet back there the past few weeks. When I go back there I bring a few sets of come alongs,hi-lift,spare tires, tow straps, chain saw, and I run 32" BFG MT's.

That's near the eastern shore of the Quinn Lakes, just south of our lunchspot. I don't remember any bridge around there.
