Rausch Creek August Long Weekend

Well Justin, Marek and I have been trying to get to Rausch creek since last year but find the spring and fall runs not good for our schedules. We are going the August weekend as there is no holiday in the US then. We are planning on going up a bit early maybe Wednesday or Thursday, Justin is off the Friday 29th and Tuesday the 2nd so we will be possibly wheeling both Friday and Monday, but I see you have to call to confirm Monday wheeling.

You could join me in July. Heading down July 8th returning July 17th. Going to the 4Wheel Jambo in Bloomsburg PA the first weekend then sight seeing, Mon tues wed. Then off to Rausch Creek for thurs fri and Sat .Leaving Sunday to come home. I will be taking the Camper.

Well Justin had to get his time booked off so that is already set in stone unfortunately. Maybe next year we will join you for that trip.

Well Marek, Justin, JP and I headed down to Rausch Creek Offroad Park, PA for the August long weekend. Marek, JP and I were supposed to leave Wednesday at 10 but surprisingly I was having issues and although I stayed up until 4:30 Tuesday night my truck was still not even close on Wednesday morning but I will discuss the why in my thread. I sent them ahead at 1:30 (sorry guys and Angela) and I left at 9 on Thursday, well then the bus went down to 30mph just after Arnprior but that again is another story and I didn't finally leave Arnprior again until 2:30pm. Justin who left Cornwall on Thursday caught me 2 hours out from Rausch Creek at 10:30 at night :p

Anyway the good part is we had a great time, we ran basically ran black and red trails and a couple of blues that looked pretty interesting. Also any greens obviously needed to get to the our trails.

Between 3 of us taking over 150 pics and JP taking 67 videos it took be a while to sort them all and in the end I just made a pair of 15 minute videos for just the first day.

I will be in Utah until the 8th (and it's thanksgiving weekend) so I would prefer the following weekend.

With the camper it takes four tanks of fuel to get there, $100 at walmart in NY for food and beer and about $100 for three days of wheeling. About a $500 trip.

Adrain does that mean it cost you $75 per tank full? I fill my little motorhome here and it cost me $120-130.

I'm going by in the US. $75 fills it in the states. Sad eh? Last time I filled it here it cost me $120.00

I used about 580 litres there and back oh but that is hauling 29000lbs of Motorhome and trailer. :)
