So who's in for the fall trip?? The core group that went in the spring mentioned going a weekend earlier than usual this fall which puts us at the Thanksgiving weekend, arriving at the park on the 7th to wheel Friday the 8th and Sat the 9th, returning Sunday the 10th in time for turkey dinner the next day........or my usual plan for the 14th to the 17th to take part in the Halloween festivities in Pine Grove and all the shinanigans at O'Neils that go along with it on the Sat...

Just an FYI, the weekend I prefer going coinsides with the North Jersey Jeep Club Charity Run, on the Sat, they usually have alot of trucks but hasn't been a problem in past years due to the types of trails we run.....infact in all the times we've been down there I don't remember once ever being held up by anyone.....one of the things that make wheeling RC so great!! (the only people who hold us up is ourselves breaking our shit or me getting wedged somewhere I shouldn't have gone.....hehehehehehehehe, the notch take 3, coming this fall...be there!!)

I'm in for Halloween, can't do thanksgiving weekend.

Oh I went back and read Steve's post again, I am assuming you mean the fake Halloween 14-17th? If so that is better for me and I imagine that Marek will be home and ready to go by then as well.

Yes, the 14th to the 17th. They have a pretty damn good parade pine grove.

That will be too tight for me, i arrive back home early morning on the 14th plus i still have to sort out my destroyed track bar, tierod and fix whatever is going on in my rear end (probably have to replace some bearings)

So, we'll do the 14th to 17th weekend then......I gotta work all day so I'll be leaving sometime after 5pm on Thurs, expecting to make it there by 1 or 2 am....if not I'll take a nap somewhere along the way and show up early in the morning.......7 or so....unless by some miricle i can convince the poor bugger who IU haven't asked yet to do my Fri job to also do my Thurs job so I can leave at a decent time.

And why we are wishing for what seems will never be, how about fuel at a price you can afford to drive around a bus with a 500ci Caddy. :p

dj

Dude, gas is so cheap in the states. It was like $2.50 a gallon when we were down there a couple of weeks ago... that's like 65 cents a liter.

I can always dream! It's like dreaming that we have anything more than the Quinn in our own back yard. I'm hoping for Moab 2011 since 2010 isn't going to happen for me.

We have lots more then Quinn.....for those of us that have been on a trail in the past 2 years know this.....

:)

George and Corey don't have problems beating on their buggies (47's and 49's respectively). But to each their own. I've been to both places, I have an informed opinion. Come on out to Northbrook some time, then you can make an informed decision, instead of applying 2005 logic/experience to a 2010 discussion. :)

Edit: I'll end the hijack now.:finger:
