I don't know if things have changed since we were up in July, but, Munford's is no longer selling gas, just keep that in mind. I believe the Shell (or was a Shell) station next to the LCBO in town does though. To be safe, fill up in Arnprior, or the small station @ 17 & 508.

Thanks Jean Guy for the link. Probably alot better for those who aren't sure where it is than my directions lol. And good reminder Terry! Havent been up to Bogie in awhile but last time Munfords didnt have fuel anymore, so be prepared guys

So quick head count, myself, Pat in the cherokee, Brylade in TJ, CDNJKRubicon in JK and 2 tag along friends in ?
Everyone good with meeting at the top of the dam for 9/9:30 and know how to get there now?

I would try for 845-9 to miss OJC unless you know what time they are meeting

I'm interested in joining the run. I have a 2010 Tacoma TRD, with a 3" lift sitting on 33's. Will that be ok for this trail?

Tacoma is not really suitable for this trail. It is a tight technical trail with deep water crossing.

Well my truck is about the same size as a 4 door jeep wrangle Rubicon, and wouldn't the water issue be the for anyone with a 3" lift? Lol

The meet time is 9am and i want to be headed to the trail entrance by 9:30 latest. Im coming from 2+ hours away so thats what im going with.

@ Brylade, the meet spot is at the top of the hill after u cross the bridge by the dam. u cant miss it its just a big open area for parking and the trails and roads lead out from there. it is in the bottom of the pic u put up.

@wolfsauce, I have no issue with u coming along on this run. I have seen tacomas do this trail before. But as Mitko said there are some deeper water crossings and the trail is tighter at some points. If u are ok with that then u are welcome to come

Wolfsauce just be aware that body damage in a pickup truck is a possibility. Much lower to the lake and back instead of going out the back door. You just need to know this ahead of time. Otherwise your truck will do fine. You do have front and rear tow points correct?

Burger,

Unfortunately Wolfsauce and myself won't be making it after all.

Hope you guys will have another couple runs before winter that we can attend.

Have a great day out on the trail.

Went really well.
Didnt get too delayed by the other club.
Burger has some pics and led the trail, so I'll let him fill in the details.

Like brylade said, went very well. Ended up being 4 rigs, myself, pat, brylade and Mitko. Made it to the lake by about noon, had lunch and started to head out. We ran into 2 groups of OJC, but luckily enough they were both at points where we could get around each other. In total they must have had 14 or 15 Jeeps. Didnt talk with them just moved over and passed by. Didnt see what time it was when we made it out, but was between 2 and 3 im guessing. No breakage, and the only person to get hung up was brylade. He got stuck behind a big log and winched out. Thanks to all who came out, it was a good run.
