Any big issues?
I would be really worried if they started mandating yearly safeties, like some other provinces

Tires being oversized/ hitting stuff is nothing new.
Bumpers cannot be changed other than an oem equivalents.
Tires must be covered by the fender.
There has been a lot of talk about doing annual safeties but nothing has been mandated yet.
Police can still pull you over and have mto come and inspect.

Most of it is the same as it has been. Bumpers and body patching are a few of the new ones and retreads.

Ive been going threw it for a week or two. Love the fact HID's in an incandescent housing is now unsafe.

I don't think there's anything to worry about as long as it's reasonable and not deadly looking. I mean, guys drive around all winter in half tons and SUV's with 9' wide snowplows hanging off the front of them. Of course in the end it's all up to the individual officer or mechanics interpretation.
