Hey Guys,

Just a heads up so you can save your pennies. I'm selling my TJ in the spring.

I'll post all the parts and details in the spring. I hurt my back playing sports this fall and as a result I have to give up wheeling, it jars my back too much.

I just wanted to give anyone who is thinking of sinking 20K into a jeep a chance to save some cash and get one that's already fully equipped. Just when I got it finished.....

Back injuries bring the suck. A good suspension seat might be worth a try (don't know if you have one yet or not), but I know when my back is acting up, I wouldn't even be able to get in the Jeep, let alone drive it.

The problem with back injuries, especially with old folk like me, is that the more you aggravate them, the more effects you see years down the road.
This is the 3rd time I've "recovered" from the same injury, and each time takes longer and more physio and I can't afford to risk a 4th.
I just made a decision that I cant risk issues 10 years from now.
I thought about the suspension seat, and that would help a lot I'm sure, but there is always the time you are not in the vehicle, doing recovery etc. or a breakdown.
I also sold my Mustang because getting in and out was painful, so I guess I'm just getting old. Maybe time to buy a Cadillac or an old Lincon

Take a look into Laser Therapy, my wife tore both miniscus two years ago and couldn't run. She was getting physio for it and any time it started feeling better and tried to run it would get worse. She started getting laser therapy and is back running now after about 10 sessions. Probably won't help getting you wheeling but it may help with the pain

Wow that's bad news. Sorry to hear this buddy! I've had all kinds of back issues going on 25 years now, still have pain every day, so I know where you are at. That is a tough decision that I will likely have to make in the future also.

Glad I got to see you rippin it up HARD out there. Maybe you will be able to find relief and I'll see you out there again.

Good luck with pain management and -hopefully- a miraculous recovery.
