Someone said something about wood. I don't see why there would be any fire bans, but it would be nice to confirm before we all lug up a few thousand pounds of lumber into the forest. No problems with the land lease agreement or insurance....?
It would take a couple of weeks to dry up enough for a ban to be put in place.
Yes, land use and insurance is secured....
But I took tomorrow off....

Hey all,
I’m sure it may have been strange waking up and seeing our tent gone. My girl Lisa and I went up camping knowing that we may have to take off early. In the last few days Lisa’s cat Chloe had to taken to the animal hospital due to difficult time breathing and other problems. I know some people may think it to be weird to leave a long weekend event and go home for a sick animal; however Lisa has had her cat for 18 years so Chloe really was one of the family. Sadly, we had to have her put down early Sat. morning due to kidney failure. We loved Chloe very much and will miss her greatly. As for time we were in Calabogie, we had a great time and it was nice to see you guys since it has been along time. Once again we apologize for taking off without telling anyone but we had to leave quickly so that we could see again one more time. See you guys again on the next run and take care.
