Supplied air respirator

Buddy is looking to borrow one for this weekend. Anyone have one they can live without for a couple of days?
Let me know as soon as possible, push comes to shove he may have to go out and buy one.

Is this something that supplies clean air (say from outside) to a face mask? This would be way better than a filter mask which can leak air in around the face.
If you buy one let us know what and where, I'd be interested in getting one.

PA doesn't carry them. They carry the filter ones although they do carry just the mask. HPLV you supposedly really want one that pumps the air to you from another location. He looked into it and found pretty much Hobby air or Breathe cool are the companies to get. Bit pricey but the risks are pretty serious when dealing with isocyanates. ADoubt Army surplus would carry them either

Huh, pretty sure my dad's was from PA (it's back in Thunder Bay). Mind you, that was years ago.
