I'm looking to do an SYE on an NP231 from a 94 YJ. I see lots of styles and choices out there and was just wondering what you guys think is the best choice for reliability and ease of install.

Probably the highest recommended (mind you that is for a TJ) is the JB Conversion Super Short. However you need to convert your speedo to electric. Otherwise Advanced Adapters or in my case I did a Teraflex
