Dave's Offroad supply in PA. Best price on Pirate and really good service. Ship them to the border and pay the tax.

Paging Richard for an opinion on radial Swampers - I believe he had sidewall cut problems.

Bias are tougher, and usually sport a deeper tread due to their rounded carcass, but have terrible road manners. Grab the part number of the tire you like from Interco's website and talk to anyplace that is a Keystone dealer. For example, I bought mine for "cost" through my buddy who used to be the parts manager at Orleans Dodge. I know Campbell Ford deals a lot with Keystone, as well as Premier Performance auto parts. I'm not certain but I think No Limits auto parts also deals with Keystone. Paging Burger......

Run the 36" TSL bias on the CJ. Honestly, for what little wheeling I've done, they are doing great. I actually don't mind them on the road either (well, once the flat spots get round again), but I don't have anything else to compare them to.

Depending on how patient you are, I've seen 2-3 different sets of them go for $500-700 with a hell of a lot of life left fairly local - no clue what the price for new is like as I plan on going 37" PBR's when I need a new set.

Stay away from the SSR, they have seriously weak sidewalls (I cut 5 of them). I haven't heard of any problems with the other radials.

Bias tires on a Sammy will give you a stiff ride. Feels like the tires are square. And with a light rig like that. The tire are not going to flex well. the side walls will look the same with 2 psi as 15.

Lol, very true. But a locked Sami on 36"s with enough gear will go just about anywhere regardless of press. At 30psi I think it'll float (;

Maybe consider the Irok's for a little lighter tire? Mike L. seemed to have good success with them.

iroks wear fast, so would not recommend for on-road at all. they are a very soft tire. don;t do bias is onroad, think Radial, if almost all offroad, then bias are better in my opinions
