Pie in the sky thinking for a moment.
I've been reading up on V8 swaps into my 2001 Cherokee - which is pretty much the same as the TJ from a hardware and electrics point of view.
I'm really keen on the new GM Gen IV Vortec stuff, the LY2 (4.8) and LY5 (5.3) mated to a 4L60E in particular. They run the same style ECU/PCM as the Gen III LSx series engines AFAIK.
Now, with that as a back drop...
Has anyone seen threads or pages that discuss swapping a modern-ish GM V8 into a TJ? I'm...
