Toy Windshield

Need a first Gen Toyota windshield.
Ready to put hte glass into the truck and all 3 windshields I have a cracked...

thats how the "good" one I had cracked....taking it out. :banghead:

I did buy a new rubber seal, so I can just cut the existing one when taking it out. That should be easier on the glass that just trying to pop it.

I've done a couple of cruiser windshields with that method - cut the seal from the truck with the good windshield, and bust the glass from the truck with the cracked windshield. It's no fun, but a bottle of dish soap and some beer make it a bit easier!

Best price from General Auto Glass in Ottawa $140, no installation.
Apple in Renfrew had quoted me $350. :finger:

Its on order, should have it in a day or so.

If you are still looking for the glass I have one out of a `79 I was lucky the frame was so rotten that I just lifted it out - $50 and it is yours!
