Not to steal the thunder for the run on the 17th Gorge, but if you can't do the 17th and want to do a quick run on the 16th, there is a planned run on Carp Trail 31's minimum. Also trying to limit to 4 to 5 trucks max to keep the day short.
Meet at Zeller's Bells Corners for 9 AM then Carp Fairgrounds for 9:30. We will head to the trail for 9:45.
Want to make it a quick day.

It's still on.
Cheford, what kind of rig do you have? The trail is about minimum tire size of 31's. If you meet that we'd love to have you.
As mentioned at the top, meet at Zeller's Bells Corners for 9 AM then Carp Fairgrounds for 9:30. We will head to the trail for 9:45.
I can be reached the day of at 613-290-8320 (assuming I remember to charge my cell)

Could be worse :)
You should be fine.
Just be aware Carp is a pretty narrow trail. Nothing like two rocks really close to each other but you probably will end up with some pinstriping :)

I thought Carp Trail was closed because of the land dispute?

A few weeks back I tried to go straight through without turning towards March Road, but I couldn't get past the mud hole. The mud was deep and the ruts were filled with water.
Mud was coming in under my doors and being almost suck (not gaining) I backed out.

If I find the time I'll join you all, but I know I won't get past the mud hole so that's where I'll have to stop.

Stop? There would be no need to stop, your not going to be alone lol, I'm sure one of us has a rig that can pull you out if need be, or pull u through, take a few stabs at it, read the hole carefully, determine a best route.....need be ask for advice on how to get through.....we're all there to have fun, and get muddy, not see who can get through the most holes and not get stuck

Thanks for the encouragement, but I'm only on 31" tires with no lift.:baby: lol.
My rig isn't really capable of doing the Carp Trail when it has been really wet. With the rain yesterday and more rain today, I know full well the Carp Trail it is out of my league.

You should be able to do it you may stuff your tires but I think you should be ok plus I have the excuse to use my new (to me) winch :D. The agreement between the developer, OVO, EOTB and the OJC was that the moment you see a house, you turn around. Also the first mud hole has a bypass which for us I would recommend taking looking at how much rain we have had.

BTW, Cheford you may end up being the mule for us if anyone does get stuck since you probably weigh the most.

Forgot to mention as per all trail runs, no drugs and no alcohol. We don't want any impaired judgements and we don't want to give the hobby a bad name.
