No longer required, thanks anyways. I found a replacement at Kenny's in Gatineau which appears to be a recent rebuild. I went there today and pulled the transmission for him. They come out real easy when the floor pan is removed! Thank God for sawzalls!

Inspection plate bolts 10mmx4
Trans to engine block 14mmx9 for the main nuts and studs
Stud bracket nuts 13mmx4
Transfer case 15mmx6
Flex plate to converter 15mmx3
U-joint straps 10mmx8
Trans X-member mount 15mmx4
Short sockets 10/13/14/15mm
Long sockets 13 and 14mm
Box end wrench 15mm
Vise Grips help to start the bottom bolt on the 241 or 243 transfer cases, it's at a bad angle.
3/8" universal joint and a few different lengths of extensions 3" 6" and 12" we used.
Pry bar(not the flat ones)
Side cutters
Patience x100
Small sledge hammer and a block of wood will help "shape" the floor boards for the extra 1/2" of clearance(optional
1995 4L60e's were a transition year, don't use it unless it's going in a 1995
1996 to 1998 are direct bolt-in
2-piece Bell housing can be interchanged with one piece, provided they were mounted to a 4.3/5.0/5.7 and not the 4.8/5.3/6.0 etc...
Pre-1995 were OBD1 and before OBD1 they were not electronically controlled and were designated as the familiar 700R4
I believe this information to be correct, please understand that I am NOT an automotive mechanic(I am a refrigeration mechanic) and I am only providing this information in hopes that it may help someone. The tools are accurate, interchange should be used only as a starting point, always do your own research!
