I bought this one...

It's small and only has 50' of synthetic rope but it fits my buggy very well...

I just looked at the site and it seems the winch I bought is not listed online. Might be a good idea to call ahead to be sure of whats in stock before you order.

What I did was get my Warn X9000I off ebay for $350. It needed a new solenoid but these things are dead simple in how they work. Bill did a rebuild doc on the 8274 and I found something similar for mine. It was a bit of a risk but worked out in the end.

I have been eyeing up the runva winches, 475 plus tax with 85' of synthetic is very tempting...
so burger not knocking what you have prolly a solid piece of kit just new is only 50 bucks more...

Tim you can keep the winch so you can move your jeep around with it!

Sorry to say but I woould not pay more than 350 for a "new" champion... I had one... it needed brushes... and could not get any parts for it at all...
My 2cents...

^ too funny. But I knew what brad meant. And it is still a whole 4ft/min faster then my lp8500.

But as for background it is pretty much going to be a functional bumper ornament on an algee green mall crawler unless I get a decent one for the time.

out of stock that was the first place i looked

Too bad. I love my Titan, although it has only been used once. Pulled Logan out of the rocks at the dam, didn't even break a sweat. And it's quite fast!

That's the one i had. The only problem i had was that i sheered the little nub that is in the level switch that allows you to go from manual spool to locked. I fakked it up on the backside of lavant down in those mud holes. Nothing a little gob of weld and a file didn't fix though.... Other than that, it worked very well.
