Where are the good trails n Ottawa!

Hey everyone

New to the hobby ..

I've owed a few 4x4's but never actually took em ofroading... looking to do so but I have no idea where the trails are.

I'm in Grelly - anyone can list me a couple of trails in the area either close or anywhere in Ottawa ..

I have a jeep TJ .. minor mods .. 4 inch suspension lift on 31/10.5 inch muds .. Not much so not looking for crazy trails


Any suggestions - ever any get togethers?

Welcome to the forum, there is a trip out to the Gorge which I think is near Calabogie on the 10th if you want to tag along. We meet at the Zellers in Bells Corners at 0900 and then at the Tim Hortons in Arnprior (I think) around 0945. Exact location I can never remember. It's stock friendly as it is a power line road but has some obstacles right off the path that you can choose to do if you want or just tag along to watch and meet some people.

Keep an eye on the events/Trail run section.. That's where all trail rides are listed.

We generally don't give out trail location info but rather you join us on one of our scheduled runs.
This way, especially for newbies, there are people there to help keep you out of trouble.

As mentioned above, keep an eye on the Events/Trail run section. While the weather is good, we have monthly meetings the last Thurs of the month at Andrew Haydon Park (Carling & Acres) in the west parking lot.

Hey everyone, I just got back from a year studying in India, and cant wait to get out again. Suprisingly it sounds like the next trip is the very same I place I went last...and ended up with my truck on its side. Anyways I hope I can get everything together and that my truck is running fine, after sitting for a year. Hope to see you there.
