Well I'll get some pics of the engine and go over my notes and do a decent write up about all the messing around and steps involved. But for now check out these rims

car is getting a flat black/gloss black 2 tone paint job so I decided to give the rims a classic ratty feel.

As of now my interior is all flat aluminum panels and I'd like to start collecting old signs and doing my interior like this

Speaking of interior, I should get some pics of my dash now that its nearly done

Something else just dawned on me, I never did any write up about the SAS. I made huge changes to the suspension, front and rear including wheel base stretch and a solid axle swap. I should maybe add all that stuff to this thread lol

I've never made that climb. LOL I pounded the rails on it for 10 minutes on my first ever trip out there but never tried it again after that. Actually last year there were a few climbs we couldn't do and some we did, that we didn't have any right to try. LOL But on Saturday we climbed everything but that one steep as frig rock with swamp on the left and the fender bender on the right. I'm sure you know the one, you got into a sweet wheel stand trying it last year. Kick works well

Built a roof rack and spare carrier for the kick. Gonna add exo b pillars and rear fender bars this week. Maybe complete it as a full exo in the future. Spent last week at Govan Lake and needed the rack to get all our gear in with our 2 big dogs.

We ran the quin while we were at Govan and to my surprise had a very smooth run up and back down. Couple things I would like to change on the kick but for now it's great.

Nice design!
Thanks man! I had thought of doing side swing but this seemed to make more sense, swing down allows for a lighter overall design, huge 24" hinge width, two pins that are under pressure of the tire weight so they don't rattle and with the tire secure to the carrier it makes a great access step to the roof rack! Lol works well and it can't swing closed and crush me or the wife

Pretty proud of how well this works. Cup holder, holy shit handle, or macs Isle 3.
