Ok, got the high steer arms ordered from Cutthroat 4x4 and should be here in a couple of weeks. I also talked to Bobby Long today and he's sending me a set of spindle bushings, gunna get rid of the needle bearings! I got the upper kingpin cones removed yesterday and am just waiting for the new ones to show up in the mail then i'll start assembling the kingpins and get the knuckles on.

Just thought i'd post some random pics i took today now that the front end is under the jeep and how it's sitting at ride height. Welded some short pieces of DOM on the bottom of the lower kingpin plates to protect the grease nipples (bad pic i know)

How did you post them (via URL or directly uploaded from the PC?

If by upload, you can double click the pic once saved and check off the attributes to show full size..

I didn't change anything, just upgraded. If it did something, well...

Guess I'll need to try and upload a pic to see what you are talking about.

No progress as of yet, i have been doing some parts collecting though - almost got everything i need to complete the front. gear set and install kit, HD diff cover and 35 spline stub shafts, high steer arms and lastly the yukon super joints, these things are like jewelry!

I had the stock king pins in place but today i installed the springless arms. I also mocked up all the steering linkage to figure out how i'll mount the hydro ram...

That's a fancy looking Poison Spyder diff cover :) Green spyder?

I see you also have a diff gasket... hope my harassing you on your poor RTV application on the 14B didn't push you over the edge ;)

So i got all the steering in place, now i just have to decide the best way to mount the hydrolic ram. at this point i'm figuring it'll get mounted underneath the tierod with a skid plate.

thanks dirk, i picked up a new muffler yesterday. I wanted to go with the flowmaster i was running before the 4 link was done but low and behold there is no room for it, there was also no room for the cherry bomb (cherry bomb sounds like crap anyway) so i ordered this one, small and will fit just behind the axle dumping out through the middle of the rear end.

better than straight piping it, which is what i was considering. between the 14 bolt and the 4 links back there, there is almost no room. It was a guy that builds race cars that recomended this model of flowmaster, says they sound awesome.
