I'd be in depending on the date.
The trail as a whole is fairly clean. It is the furthest from town ) that needs the cleaning. I wouldn't make this a trail run , and just a clean up. Where is the dump and is it open on Sundays? Which side does your father in law live on?
No date has been set until we talk to the Landowner, city, reporter and bicycle club. Also we need to see when the dump is open. There is no worry about taking trailers down the trail, since we won't even be on the trail. The area in question is at the end of the trail at a dead end road that locals have been using as a dump site. It is all concentrated in one location. So it will be a good in and out fast clean up.
Care to define what WTF "We" as OJD represents?
I am not currently a member anywhere but I would be willing to help with a clean up. I have a trailer as well. It's been through the trail already this year and I am sure it would make it again. Is the aug 28th date a go or has it been decided on yet??
So if all goes well , we are looking at Oct 1st for the clean up, but don't change your work schedules untill we confirm amounst the clubs involved.
If you still want to join me Richard, be at my place for 10:30
HOE - The clean up is definitely a go - we're meeting at the Tim's off the 401 by KFC at noon. It would be great to have more hands available. I've secured a dump pass at the city transfer station, and hopefully we'll get the paper out to provide some positive press.
