Me? Early?............hahahahahahaha....yeah right, nice thought but no such luck....I'm bringing 2 BFG MT's 31X10.50X15 on zuk rims......I'll have the valve cores out prior to arriving (as to allow both tires to be down to and equal zero pressure), and when we're ready for the test we'll put the cores back in and hook up each pump to each tire and let'em go for a prescribed amount of time, at which point we'll measure how much pressure is in each tire.....At that time we'll also check the heat generated from each unit...(looking for volunteer skin at that point...lol). As far as current draw, we could get one of the techo geeks to weigh in on the situation with some sort of device...ohm meter or whatnot....but I repeat I will not be able to make it there early......it's a given. See ya when I get there....

I'll bring a clamp-on ammeter but the positive and negative leads need to be separated. Only a problem if you plug in the cigarette lighter.

Mine hooks up to the battery directly. I think it draws too much to use a cigarette lighter.

Two things so far I don't necessarily like about it are:
1. The actual valve attachment is weird. You are supposed to be able to attach it and it stays on but I find the air pressure will force the inner part out. (it will make sense when you see it).
2. The pressure gauge wasn't very accurate when I tried it out but it was pretty cold.

I'll bring a clamp-on ammeter but the positive and negative leads need to be separated. Only a problem if you plug in the cigarette lighter.

So an update on the air off! Grumpy brought a 31 x 10.50 x15 tire on a zuk rim. The competition was judged by how quiet they were, how much PSI the tire had after 2mins of pumping, the carrying cases, how loud, and initial quality.

Chris's titan: 0-21psi in 2mins
Pros: nicer carrying case, quieter, faster, canadian.
Cons: Wierd Coupler on the end of the hose.

Steve's Masterflow: 0-18psi in 2mins
Pros: Better coupler on the end of the hose.
Cons: Slower, louder, not as nice of case

WINNER!!!! TITAN!
:D

More importantly Matt, what is the cost difference.

Ah ha! touche' Jamie.

I think the Masterflow sells for around $90 american and can only be bought out of the states.

I think the Titan was around $130. Maybe 2greys can confirm on that.

So after getting both shipped to Ottawa there would only be a few dollars difference i would think.

The Tsunami was $64 US but would work out to about $90 when converted to Cdn.
Plus I think the Titan would make a better bludgeoning device. It is pretty hefty and rugged.
