Big day today! Tranny is all together now. Thanks to Pierre Renaud for taking the time out of his schedule to put it together for me. We had to machine two of the pistons to get the tolerances we wanted and to add an extra clutch to one of the packs. My Pump was fawked so that had to be replaced, thanks to Andrew's old tranny. This caused us no end of grief LOL

Had to put panels back on so I could remember what it looks like:

Now it is ready to move to the new house. Trying to get it ready for PJF at the end of Sept!

All I need is Harness, O2 sensors and MAF sensor, plugs and wires then it will fire.

Should be about two weeks before I see the harness, I'll get the rest at the same time.

12Voltguy is shipping my panel next week as well :smokin:

Well, All moved into the new house now. The buggy's new home is a canvas car shelter :banghead:

BUT - I finally have everything to the point to test fire the engine, and it started on the first try!

I did not have the brake booster hooked up, so the big vacuum leak was causing the rough idle, plus the O2 sensors are not hooked up yet due to the lack of exhaust.

Went for a drive last night for the first time!
