"no trespassing" on crown land?
Exactly what I thought when I saw the signs. They have them posted all over the place along with Closed Trail signs,it also looked like in certain sections they dug out sections of the road so people couldnt get by.
Ive been going up to that area for years I have family up there with cottages/huntcamps.Sad to see what they have done with the area,I was actually shocked with the extent of some of the logging and how far back it was.Trails that I used to ride are completly gone in sections,I didnt even recognize certain areas.
It is getting to be a popular place also for camping which is fine but they dont have anyone patrolling the area on a regular basis and people are taking advantage of that.I was camping up there a few weekends back on a backcountry lake and there were 2 houseboats on the lake, never in my lifetime did I think I would see that, they barely fit on the trail.I showed up at my campsite and there was leftover garbage from the people before all over, cans in the water, total disrespect for the area.
I dont agree with paying for permits on Crown Land but in order to somewhat keep the area clean and patrolled the sad truth is they need to charge. They should of left the roads/trails up there rough and never fixed them, now you get all the yahoo's back there partying and leving there garbage behind.Saw a brand new Camaro back there about a month ago,had a good laugh at that also.
