The 7.3s are notorious for this, mine is an 02 as well, and I've been keeping a very close eye on it since I got the truck 5 years ago, I just sanded down and repainted it last week, no major rust on mine yet.

Well guys I have to gracefully (if not alittle shamefully) back out of rausch. Despite Dwayne and I's best effort we were unable to get my brake system going. We tore it apart and replaced everything but where plagued with very squishy brakes at best and vacuum problems. We tried but time ran out, have fun - wish i was there!
