your learning what a lot of us already know.
but what fun are crate axles and look at all the great experience your gaining.
I sure somewhere you can get spindles either new or used. I remember hearing someone
say its not the destination that matters, its all the things along the way that make the destination worth it.

Truer words not spoken. It would have been cheaper if I had just bought my axles from ECGS but I wouldn't have learned as much as I did doing that.

I know.... It part of why i tear shit apart like i do and put it all back together :)

Unfortunately for me, I was at a stage that i was ready to see if it will start / run. Now, after pricing out all the inners, bearings, seals, KP parts, spindles, etc... I am approaching $1000 and a ton more work to do... Ah well, winter's just around the corner..

IMAG0646[1].jpgnot to hijack but just a quick story. some might know that I kept breaking rear Toyota thirds in the 529 flavour. so I hear its pretty cheep to get a 14 bolt so I go ahead and commit to building one. well I'm at a grand total of 26 and change and its not under the runner yet. was it worth it. hell yea. and when I'm pounding on that puppy next year I'm just gonna laugh and enjoy the ride.

O.D. lets spend the money and enjoy the ride cause were not getting any younger and were lucky enough to have stumbled upon this sport the I bet 95 % of the population have to shoot, snort, cheat, and jump to get this type of high.
hear is some quick toyporn

That Toy Flange adapter for the 14 bolt alone is huge $$$$$$$

If I ever do it over, I will go 14 bolt steering axles :smokin:
