Got the skins for the side done:

WindSheild done (1/8" Lexan)

Went to the North Hasting Top Truck Invitational this weekend. It is basically a scaled down version of TTC, did the truck pull up a hill, did the log trap and broke a ring and pinion at the end of the mini-Rubicon. No pics, but video to come tomorrow.

Thanks!

Got the truck back together.

Took the carrier with the locker in it out of the old diff and into another I had. Tightened the crap out of the carrier bearings and set the backlash at 10 Thou, ready for PJF this weekend!!!

Engine Time :banghead:

Took out a rod bearing at PJF. I think it was actually Bill and I's adventure at Spring Fever that did it, 60 deg 50' incline with the engine starving for oil. All the smoke coming out of my truck at North Hastings was a good indication something was wrong, and then finally at PJF, Knock, Knock, Knock....

So here is the new engine:

Also in the pic is the new Valve Cover Gaskets, Intake gasket kit, pilot bearing and rear crank seal. Also going in will be front crank and cam seals.

Purchased from here:

http://www.japanpowerinc.com/engine_details/24/87-92_Toyota_7MGE

Got 2 weeks to get it done, then get ready for BIG DOGS!!

I thought you were going 350 when the I6 was done? :stir:

I wanted to , but that would require money for Motor, Trans, Trans Adapter to T-Case, Wiring Harness, Exhaust, etc.. Like I said, needs to be done in 2 weeks :(

Motor is all together:

Just need to change rear main seal, bolt up the clutch and put it in the truck.

Should be running by this weekend.
