Started the knock sensor repair:

Just as the internet suspected, rear was full of water

Time to order sensors :banghead:

Water can go under the intake pretty easy and all there was was a simple rubber gromit around them. The interweb says to put silicone around them after you put the new ones in.

when u told me you had to remove the intake to get to the knock sensor I didn't think u meant intake manifold!
but what do I know bout knock sensors or all these computer controlled dealies, I forgot all that after relearning how to tune my aisin

It is back together - I put dielectric grease on the plug and silicone around the boot so hopefully that keeps the water away.

Me too. Can't have a wheeling club without beat up XJs in it. I'll make one for Dwayne, Marek and anyone else.

One for Mitko, too. It'll have a tiara because he's the drama queen in the club and his rig is soooo speshul.
